Revel app discontinued on Monday, June 17th

It is with heavy hearts that we share that the Revel app will be shutting down on Monday, June 17th, 2024. We are deeply grateful to our community for all of your beautiful creations, enthusiasm, encouragement, support, suggestions, and (sometimes tough) feedback along the way.

Since we first released the app in November 2022, we’ve been steadily working toward a vision of building new ways to bring creators and their communities closer, to enable meaningful experiences. In an ideal world, we would travel further on this journey together, to explore an even richer Revel experience that would have included AI-powered collaborations, upgraded cards, new rewards, and other ways to bring collectors and creators together.

The reality is that building and maintaining a mobile app as complex as Revel requires great ongoing resources. Unfortunately, the larger NFT ecosystem that looked promising 2.5 years ago, when we started Revel, did not pan out towards the mainstream consumer market.

We want to give creators and collectors a few more days to enjoy the experience and enable community members to take custody of your beautiful card collections and creations.

We will keep the app online according to the following schedule:

• Saturday, June 15th: Last day of minting / dropping packs
• Monday, June 17th: Final day to browse the app and trade.
• Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 9 AM EST: Last opportunity to claim Revel cards on chain and cash out Revs for fiat currency on https://revel.xyz

Our Discord server and social media accounts will continue to be available, for the short term, to assist or to answer questions that you may have. Thank you again for all of your support and for helping us shape Revel!
